As always, bidding on our site is absolutely free!
- Enter the auction. Go to our homepage at www.samlilly.com. From our main
page, you can browse current auctions. Click “enter auction” to view all available
items in each auction. You can also utilize our search box to look for a particular
item. Each item is represented by a photo of the item along with a complete description
and current price. Be sure to watch for additional pages by clicking “next page”
or the page number at the bottom of the page. By placing a bid you agree to be bound
by the terms and conditions of each particular auction, which can be found on our
homepage.
- Enter your bid(s). Enter your bid as well as your max bid in the appropriate boxes.
All of our items start at just one penny, and there is no reserve, which means the
highest bidder wins! You will receive email updates regarding items you are bidding
on up until the item ends. Please keep in mind that much bidding takes place during
the last hour of the auction. If you may be away from your computer while the auction
is ending, be sure to utilize our max bid feature. This will allow the system to
auto-bid for you up to your maximum amount – even if you're not online! Also, please
keep in mind that most of our online auctions have 3-minute staggered endings. This
means that if a bid is placed on an item when less than 3 minutes are left, the
item is extended 3 minutes to give you time to bid again if you so choose.
- After the auction. If you win an item or items from www.samlilly.com
you will receive an email after the last item on the auction ends which will include
your invoice. If you are tax exempt, you must submit the proper form prior to the
auction ends. Any tax exempt forms received after the auction end will not be retroactive
however, all future purchases from our site will reflect your tax exempt status.
Purchases prior will be taxed and you must apply to your state for a refund. Pickup
dates are generally the day after the auction ends, however, please verify this
through the terms and details page for each auction. If you are unable to pick up
your item(s) on the specified pickup day please contact our office to make alternate
pickup arrangements or to arrange shipping. After 3 days you will be charged a daily
storage fee which will vary depending on how much space your item(s) require to
be stored in our warehouse. For on-site auctions, items not picked up on pickup
day will automatically be transported to our warehouse and you will be charged an
additional fee for removal and transport. All invoices MUST be paid the day after
the auction ends. If we do not hear from you the day after the auction your credit
card on file will be charged for your full invoice amount, and any storage, transport
or removal fees will also be charged to your credit card. After 14 days your items
will be considered abandoned and you thereby give permission to Sam Lilly Liquidators
to charge your credit card for fees associated with the disposal of such items.

REMOVAL/SHIPPING
Shipping is available for most auctions however, you should verify that this option
is available by clicking on the terms and details for each auction. On-site auctions
that offer shipping will be assessed a removal and transport fee in addition to
packaging and shipping charges.
Freight shipping is available for larger items or for large orders. We recommend
Southeastern Freight Lines for shipping as they offer our customers considerable
discounts and shop around for the best prices, however, we are able to work with
any carrier you choose. There is a $40 palletization fee per standard pallet in
addition to any fees assessed by the shipping company. All fees must be paid prior
to any merchandise being released for shipping. Due to shipping charges being determined
by weights and dimensions, we are unable to give you an exact shipping quote prior
to auction end. FedEx shipping is usually available for merchandise smaller than
36” deep, wide or high, and less than 150 lbs. There is a $15 packaging fee per
box in addition to any fees assessed by FedEx. All fees must be paid prior to any
merchandise being released for shipping. Due to shipping charges being determined
by weights and dimensions, we are unable to give you an exact shipping quote prior
to auction end.
Delivery may be available in rare instances, and fees will vary dependent on number
of items, weights and dimensions of items, auction location, delivery location,
labor and transport method required. Please contact our office after the auction
ends for more information on delivery availability.
STORAGE
If items are not picked up by the specified removal date, you will be charged a
storage fee beginning 3 days after the auction ends. These fees will vary depending
on the amount of warehouse space required to store your items and will be charged
to the credit card you have on file. Please contact us after the auction ends to
determine what your storage costs will be based on the items you need to store.
PICKUP
Pickup dates and times are clearly marked on the terms and details for each auction.
We offer a preview date prior to the auction end. If you are unsure about an item's
condition please utilize this date for that purpose and bid accordingly. Refunds
and charge backs will not be granted due to an item's condition unless it is grossly
misrepresented on our site, nor for items not removed within the specified time
frame. Remember, after 14 days if you have not made arrangements for removal of
your items, they will be considered abandoned and you will be responsible for payment
of the items as well as disposal fees. If you are unable to pick up your items within
the allotted times please contact us as soon as possible to make arrangements for
alternate pickup dates, shipping, storage or delivery of your items. For on-site
auctions, items not picked up on the specified date will automatically be transported
to our warehouse and you will be charged a removal and transport fee which may be
charged to the credit card you have on file. Regardless of removal date, all invoices
MUST be paid in full the day immediately following the auction end.
